The world famous waxwork exhibition and tourist attraction, where visitors wander among themed displays featuring life-like historical figures, showbiz personalities, sports stars, Royalty, political leaders and other contemporary figures. Madame Tussaud came to London in 1802 with a collection of life size wax portraits, including death masks of victims of the French Revolution, her collection soon grew in both size and popularity and has been open to the public here since 1884, assuming the stature of an institution.
