Grosvenor Chapel :: Visitors' Map of London :: A-Z Maps
Grosvenor ChapelBuilt in 1730 in a simple classical form - shoebox in proportions with a west front pavement portico surmounted with a short tower and spire containing a clock and bell, all defining features the of the 'colonial style' churches in New England.
It retains its title of Chapel because it is not, and never has been a parish church, it is entirely dependent upon the generosity of those who worship here regularly or visit, during the Second World War that included the men and women of the US armed forces.
