Eglise Suisse (The Swiss Church of London)

Opened 1855 replacing the old Eglise Helvetique in Stidwell Street, which had been built by the Swiss for the Swiss community in 1775, the design of the new church by George Vulliamy is now a listed building and fully restored in 2009.

Affiliated to the Federation of Swiss Protestant Churches in Berne though welcoming Swiss Roman Catholics and Christians of all other denominations. This is a meeting place for both Swiss and friends of Switzerland from all walks of life, contributing to the social life of the Swiss community in London and promoting cultural and social activities.
