This A-Z Knowledge Map of London is a full colour street atlas designed for use by London Black Cab drivers, but is of great value to any London driver. There are two scales of street mapping featured in this atlas:

Central London is covered with our most detailed super scale mapping at 9 inches to 1 mile extending:

  • North to St. Pancras International Station and King's Cross Station;
  • East to Canary Wharf;
  • South to Battersea Park;
  • West to Westfield London shopping centre.

The Congestion Charging Zone boundary, red light camera locations, Barclays Cycle Hire docking stations, embassies and selected hotels are included on the super scale mapping.

Our standard street mapping at a scale of 4.5 inches to 1 mile extends map coverage to a six mile radius from Charing Cross to include:

  • M1 junction 2 to the north
  • The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and London City Airport to the east
  • Wimbledon to the south
  • M4 junction 2 to the west

There are also separate airport maps of London Heathrow, London Luton, London Stansted and London Gatwick.

Both scales of street mapping feature postcode districts, one-way streets and safety camera locations with maximum speed limits.

An additional 32 pages of main route mapping at a scale of 1" to 1 mile covers the whole of Greater London. Ideal for planning routes into the city, coverage extends to St. Albans (Herts.), Chelmsford (Essex), Maidstone (Kent), Reigate & Redhill (Surrey) and High Wycombe (Bucks.). The Congestion Charging Zone boundary, the Low Emission Zone boundary and safety camera locations with maximum speed limits are also featured.

There are overview maps of the Congestion Charging Zone and the Low Emission Zone with associated notes. The full London Underground Map is printed on the back cover.

The index section of this atlas lists streets, selected flats, walkways, hotels and places of interest, cinemas, theatres, junction, place and area names. Also included is a separate list of hospitals, hospices and NHS Walk-in Centres and a separate list of National Rail stations, London Underground and Overground stations, Docklands Light Railway stations, Tramlink stops and River Boat stops featured on the mapping.
