Cambridge Theatre

Opened in 1930 using modern concrete construction to achieve a theatre of clean lines and spaces, far removed from the then current theatre styles that echo the flamboyant music hall tradition. The modernist architect Serge Chermayeff produced interiors in gold and silver with concealed lighting, restored 1987.
