Prince Edward Theatre

A 1930 design in the style of an Italian palazzo with large scale arched doorways beneath its wide columned frontage and balcony, its interior decorated in the fashionable and dramatic art deco style of the period. At times has served as both a cinema and casino besides periods of theatrical and variety productions. Completely refurbished in 1993 with a modernisation of stage facilities, improving the acoustics, remodelling and redecorating the auditorium, to facilitate the production of large scale musicals.
