Victoria Palace Theatre
Overlooking Victoria Station forecourt and dating from 1911, the present theatre has an impressive façade and cupola, a mixture of classical and the baroque, its large interior seating over 1500 features marble and gold mosaic detailing. A replica of the original roof top statue of the ballerina Pavlova was replaced for the 2006 restoration.
There was a music hall here dating from 1832, even before the building of the railway, which later became The Royal Standard Music Hall in 1863.
