Noel Coward Theatre
Opened in 1903 as the New Theatre; backs on to the Wyndham's Theatre of 1899, both being built by the famous actor-manager, Charles Wyndham. Its imposing classical exterior is in contrast to an ornate and decorative interior design. Called the Albery between 1973 and 2006; when it reopened after restoration it was renamed again, this time in honour of Noël Coward who made his West End debut there in 1920.
