LSO St Lukes Theatre
LSO St Luke's is the home of the London Symphony Orchestra's community and music education programme - LSO Discovery.
It is an important venue for rehearsals, recordings and chamber music performances as well as a wide variety of commercial and private events. The fine Grade 1 listed Hawksmoor church of 1733 was abandoned after 1959 when subsidence made the building unsafe, its restoration completed in 2002 ensured careful treatment of the historic structure with a contemporary interior suitable to its function. London Symphony Orchestra are resident at the nearby Barbican Hall where they play their London concert seasons.
