Opened in 1929, Conway Hall is home of the South Place Ethical Society, it was named was in honour of Moncure Daniel Conway 1832-1907, the American anti-slavery advocate, and out-spoken supporter of free thought.
The Library holds the Ethical Society's collection, a comprehensive Humanist Research resource, while the hall is home to one of the world's longest running continuous series of chamber music concerts.
