Impressive Portland Stone building with monolithic columned entrance built to provide London with an international trade centre by the Bush Terminal Company of New York, and opened between 1923 and 1935. Features an important stylish Art Deco interior.

Home of the BBC World Service from 1940 to 2012 when it relocated to Broadcasting House join BBC national and international news sevices.
