Toy Museum (Pollocks)
Pollocks Toy Museum is of particular interest to children of all ages. Displays encompass English tin toys; puppets, teddy bears, lead miniatures, dolls and doll’s houses, folk toys from around the world. Toy theatres, optical, mechanical and construction toys and board games.
The Museum occupies two town houses, one 18th century, one 19th; a succession of small interconnected rooms are crammed full with toy and model displays. Its name stems from Benjamin Pollock, the last of the Victorian Toy Theatre printers.
