The Queens Gallery mounts a programme of changing thematic exhibitions of great interest curated from one of the largest and most valuable art collections - the Royal Collection, with custodians in Royal livery adding to the lustre.
The Royal Collection including paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, furniture, ceramics, silver, jewellery, books and manuscripts, arms and armour, and textiles is on display at the various Royal Palaces and residences, all of which are at times open to the public. The collection is held in trust by The Queen as Sovereign for her successors and the Nation, and is not owned by her as a private individual.
