Petticoat Lane Market
A typical London street market with a history going back to medieval times, though 'Peticote Lane' later became known as Middlesex Street. Famous now for its hectic conglomeration of stalls piled high with all manner of cheap and cheerful household goods and clothing that swamp all the surrounding streets. Every Sunday morning bargain hunters, tourists and passers-by pack into the market attracted to the stalls of salesmen renowned for their persuasive 'patter'.
