Oxo Tower Wharf

This imposing wharf is now a showpiece centre for artist designer-craftsmen complete with rooftop restaurant and 8th floor public viewing gallery. A riverside landmark since the 1930s when it was owned by the makers of the OXO brand, at that time the building was London's second highest commercial building, goods were delivered by river barge. Windows in the tower take on the form of the famous brand logo, circumnavigating a ban on sky advertising.

During the 1990s Coin Street Community Builders undertook a major refurbishment project transforming the building into an award-winning mixed use development including co-operative flats, retail design studios, specialist shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes and bars.
