Natural History Museum
One of the world's finest natural history collections; it is organised into Blue and Green Zones with modern interactive theme displays covering dinosaurs, insects, ecology, human biology, mammals, sea life, origin of species etc. and Red Zones covering ancient and future earth, changing landscapes including an 'earthquake experience'.
Orange Zone include the important new Darwin Centre where visitors are to observe scientists at work and see displays from the many millions of zoological specimens gathered by scientists for 400 years.
Activity sheets available for children.
Free, but admission charged for special exhibitions.
Daily 10am to 5.50pm.
