Museum of London

One of London's modern purpose-built museums: constructed as part of the Barbican. Imaginative displays include London before London; Roman London; Medieval London; Tudor and early Stuart London; and Modern London, the story of London and its people from 1666 up to the present. The magnificent Lord Mayor’s Coach of 1757, displayed in the City Gallery is used annually in November for the Lord Mayor's Parade.
