London Metropolitan Archives

London Metropolitan Archives are an important collection that document the story of London and its people. It is an important

repository for many London-wide organisations including: the City of London Corporation (COL) and the former Greater London Council (GLC), London County Council (LCC), Middlesex County Council (MCC) and their predecessors. Also here are records of many religious groups, local authorities and other business organisations based in London. Records span a date range from medieval times to the present day, and the collections are constantly expanding.

Research facilities include public access, computers, microfilm reader/printers and portable computer points. Enquiries can also be made by letter, telephone, fax and email.

Tuesday and Thursday 9.30am to 7.30pm
