St Bartholomew the Less Church
This is the Parish church of St Bartholomew's Hospital. Its 15th century tower is all that remains of the medieval church, the body of which was rebuilt in an octagonal shape in 1789 to designs by George Dance junior, it features many monuments from 17th century onwards. Formerly a chapel of the medieval St Bartholomew the Great Priory, it became parish church in 1543 following the Dissolution of the Monasteries.
