Central Orthodox Synagogue

Initially founded 1855 in a converted warehouse as a branch of the historic Great Synagogue, Duke's Place, to minister to the many Jews migrating to the West End. The purpose built synagogue consecrated in 1870 was destroyed by bombing in 1941, its modern replacement being consecrated in 1958.
