All Souls Church

Built by John Nash 1822-24 as part of his grand Regent Street town planning scheme to link Carlton House with Regent's Park. Occupying as it does an important change of direction, Nash designed a suitably notable landmark - an unusual protruding circular portico of Ionic columns topped with a slender needle spire and drum of Corinthian columns.
