Currently closed following a fire in 2013.
The collection of the Cuming family together Southwark’s history museum, it includes archaeology, ethnography, social history and natural history. Both permanent and changing exhibitions illustrate the story of the Cuming family - representing 100 years of eclectic collecting by father and son, and the history of Southwark, from Roman times to today.
Opened in a gallery funded by the Cuming family in 1906, moving to the adjacent Old Walworth Town Hall, in 2006. Local History Library.
