Church House

Built to designs by Herbert Baker and opened in June 1940 for the first Session of the Church Assembly, although the foundation of the Corporation of The Church House dates back to 1888. It serves as headquarters of the Archbishops' Council, the Church Commissioners and is the meeting-place, twice each year, of the General Synod of the Church of England.

Here also is Church House Conference Centre.
