Famous statue of the Queen of the Iceni and her two daughters in a war chariot. Boadicea (or Boudicca) died AD62 following the defeat of her initially successful rebellion against the Romans, during which London or Londinium as it was then know was sacked, along with Colchester and St Albans. Cast bronze by Thorneycroft, 1902.
