Barbican Library, run by the City of London Corporation, is situated within the Barbican Centre. It comprises a public lending library with free internet access, free Skills for Life advice sessions and materials, a children’s library and a music library.
Over 204,000 books and other materials to lend (mostly for free) including over -108,000 Non-Fiction books specialisms in Finance, Environment, Marxism. -40,000 Fiction books (12,000 in paperback categories). -Art Library over 14,000 monographs. -Children’s Library over 25,000 items. - Music Library 17,000 CDs for loan, 8,500 music books, 16,000 music scores also DVDs, Video and CD-ROMs.
