A-Z and Ordnance Survey combined Copyright Licence
Copyright exists in our maps due to the considerable amount of time and expertise which is put into their compilation and drawing by our cartographers. Because our maps are based upon Ordnance Survey maps, Crown Copyright also exists in them. Both these copyrights are infringed by the reproduction of our maps, in whole or in part, without the consent of the copyright owners.
In co-operation with Ordnance Survey, we have established a combined copyright licence to maximise the opportunity for the use of A-Z maps.
This will simplify the copyright procedure and integrate the fees into a combined licence. It will therefore no longer be necessary to obtain separate permission from Ordnance Survey to use our maps.
Use the copyright wizard below to calculate what licence you require to use our mapping data.
